Adrpach-Teplice rocks are well-known climbing areas not only in Czech republic, but also abroad. Sandstone walls reach the height of approximately 500metres at some points and spread out to the area of 20km2 . Wonderful sceneries of that place are famous and for rockclimbers it is a paradise here. According to the fact that the area of Adrpach-Teplice rocks was in 1933 announced a Nationa park and in 1991Preserved natural area of Broumov it is neccessary to follow all the rules of natural beauty protection. Of course, it is necessary to also follow all the rules valid for sandstone climbing. It is advisable to follow the infotable of Czech Mountain service at the front of the area entrance where you can find the newest info about available areas and potential problems.
The first sport climb in Adrpach was done on a tower near Adrpach castle, that was named The King. That climb was done in 1923 by Willy Adam with his friends. In the twenties some other towers were conquered – for example The Lovers, The Mayor and his wife, The Stephen´s crown and Sachsian head in Adrpach, then Stony crown, Sea-bear or The Boar in Teplice rocks. Those were the first climbs of German climbers. The first czech climb was the conquering of The Pot in Adrpach rocks in 1935 by Josef Janeba, Miroslav Jedlička, by the rockclimbing legend Rudolf Otto Bau and by Mr. Jedlička. Till the WWII approximately 40 mountains were conquered in the Adrpach-Teplice rocks. However, only after the war the gold age of rockclimbing begun. Nowadays, approximately 4000 towers and walls were conquered in the region.
People in the east Bohemia experience a new boom of the so-called hippo-tracks. Three hundred kilometres long hippo-tracks are marked by a white square with blue, red or yellow circle in the centre. You may ride a horse in Hocul ranch in Dolní Adrpach or if you are western lovers you can not miss the „western rides“ in Malé Poříčí, that is 5km away from Náchod.
The so-called Spinal hippo-track runs that begins in Vienna, runs through South Bohemia and leads to the northeast, right here. Connection to Krkonoe through Poland to the Baltic sea is planned for the future. There are newly established berthages in the area and it is possible even to sleep over with a horse on some places. It is also possible to hire a horse for your trip. You may spend time in the horse´s saddle of and admire the beatiful countryside with those wonderful animals.

The East Bohemia is thanks to the still widening web of the touristic tracks an ideal region for cycling. You may choose from the rich list of tracks from the most demanding mountaineous terrains to the relaxation journeys on the flat terrain.
Path Stěny (Walls)– Police nad Metují - Suchý Důl - Hlavňov – a gap Pasa pod Honským pičákem – Amerika pod Broumovskými stěnami - Křinice – Martínkovice (a way on the foot of Broumovské walls with views on Broumov walley) - Boanov: tourist border checkpoint to Poland - Radków - Karlów - Machowska Droga – tourist border checkpoint - Machovská Lhota – Machov – Bělý - Police nad Metují.
The track is 56 km lond, red marking, low severity.
The only demanding part is an ascent near Radkow-Karlow. Sometimes it is neccessary to walk on foot, but the majority of the journey leads through peaceful roads and forest footpaths. The track can be get over on normal bicycle, part of the track runs through Poland.

Path Vyhlídková cesta (Sightseeing tour)- From Police nad Metují to Martínkovice, on the crossroads the path is the same as „Walls path“ (red marking) – road under the Crown – crossroads under Boanovský pičák - Pánův kří - Slavný – Suchý Důl - Police nad Metují.
The track is 27km long. Blue marking, mediocre severity.
Physically more demaning ascent is in the part of the track between Martínkovice and Pánův kří. „Sightseeing tour“ is a path leading round natural park Broumovské stěny. Partly it is the same as a track „Walls“. It leads through mountaineous terrain through the preserved area. You will ride on several types of roads – on a forest footpaths or stony roads.

The track is 128 km long, 64km goes through Poland, low severity
The whole track leads through a bit wavy countryside only on the asphalt roads. The longest bicycle track in the whole Broumov bulge is marked by a road marking strictly on the roads with lower density of traffic. The track connects spa towns in Poland with Adrpach and Teplice rocks. The marking is demolished on the polish side, so the orientation is possible only by cyclotouristic maps.

The region offers hiking connected with sightseeing of cultural landmarks and natural beauties. Broumov region has got many touristic paths for trips of various levels of difficulty. Very well marked tracks offer not very difficult trips for families with children and for seniors through Broumov walley. They offer also a whole day passing of Broumov walls with unusual sandstone objects or passing of Javoří mountains with peaceful forests. Each hiking will charm you with very nice view of the countryside.

Swimming pool in Meziměstí is one of the largest in Náchodsko region in Broumov bulge. It comprises of four pools with very clear water, tennis and volleyball courts, table tennis and with sites for refreshments and an umbrella hiring. During the summer discos and other activities are organised there. You can find the swimming pool when you leave the town towards Viňov – it will appear on your right side.

Every Saturday and Sunday from april to october (in case of good weather) you may také a sightseeing flight over Broumov region. Aero club offers standard sightseeing flights over Broumov region and Stony towns or you may choose your own path. Price of the flight is 37 Kč for one minute of flight. The flight must take at least 15minutes. The price is calculated by the real time of the flight by special clock installed on the plane.
